| Avanquest Software Launches Driver Genius Avanquest Software has launched Driver Genius, a tool to eliminate the time and effort needed to locate a required driver. By automatically finding drivers undetected by your system, and providing a direct link to download them, the PC is kept updated and in optimum working order. Driver Genius will back up, restore, update, remove and load new drivers onto your PC, ensuring that drivers are updated on an ongoing basis. The software works by analysing the computer's system, then searching a database of 30,000 different drivers to suggest appropriate downloads. Alerts will appear if a new driver is available for a piece of hardware, allowing it to be updated and instantly improving the PC's performance and compatibility. Any hardware that is connected to the PC can be quickly and easily used, as the comprehensive database includes drivers for motherboards, monitors, mice, keyboards and digital cameras. Video, sound and network card drivers can also be downloaded, covering nearly all needs without having to spend a long time searching through a company's website to find the required device driver. Driver Genius completes a backup of all current drivers and copies them to a .EXE auto-installer, so reinstalling them onto other computers is easy. The backup option means that if things go wrong, all driver settings can be quickly and easily recovered.
