| Xerox Launches the Phaser 6125 Color Laser Printer For budget-conscious small and mid-size businesses that want to make a splash with vivid, professional quality color documents without breaking the bank, Xerox has launched the Phaser 6125 - its lowest price color laser printer yet. The Phaser 6125 delivers high-quality prints at up to 12 pages per minute in color and 16 pages per minute in black and white, using Xerox's energy-efficient Emulsion Aggregation High Gloss Toner, which uses less toner on the page than traditional toner. Such capabilities make the Phaser 6125 ideal for offices such as insurance agencies, marketing firms, and contractors that depend on color to enhance their customer communications. The Phaser 6125 is simple to use. It comes with pre-installed toner cartridges so that users can begin printing right away. With a faster 333MHz processor, networking, and more available memory – up to 1 GB – than competitive color printers, the Xerox printer enables busy offices to speed through jobs like spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations and complex documents with graphics and charts. The printer uses Xerox's CentreWare IS software to alert users to printer problems via pop-up messages on their computer. In addition, gauges on the front panel of the device display warnings such as whether more toner will be needed to complete a large print job. The printer also includes a 250-sheet paper tray, and prints on a wide variety of media types and sizes including labels, card stock, business cards and envelopes. As part of the Xerox Green World Alliance recycling program, the toner cartridges and routine maintenance supplies are recyclable. In addition, the Phaser 6125 is also Microsoft Vista compatible and comes with a one-year onsite warranty. write your comments about the article :: © 2008 Computing News :: home page |
