| Odeen to Become Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Convergys The Board of Directors of Convergys Corporation has elected one of its members, Philip A. Odeen, to be non-executive chairman effective December 31, 2007. Odeen replaces James F. Orr who announced on February 20 that he would retire from the position of chairman on December 31. Odeen was chairman of TRW Inc., which was acquired by Northrop Grumman. Earlier, he ran one of TRW's business units and served as the company's senior representative in Washington. Previously, he held positions as president and chief executive officer of BDM, as vice chairman for Coopers & Lybrand's management consulting services, with the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the National Security Council staff, as principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (Systems Analysis), and as head of the Defense and Arms Control staff for then-National Security Advisor Henry Kissinger. In 1997, Secretary of Defense William Cohen selected him to chair the National Defense Panel. He is a former member and vice chairman of the Defense Science Board and a member of the Chief of Naval Operations Executive Panel. In addition to Convergys, Odeen is a director of two other New York Stock Exchange companies: AES and Northrop Grumman. He is also chairman of the Henry Jackson Foundation.
