| Toumaz Technology Wins 2007 IET Innovation in Engineering Award Toumaz Technology has won the Electronics category in the Institution of Engineering and Technology's (IET) prestigious Innovation in Engineering Awards, presented on Tuesday night at a ceremony in The Marriott Grosvenor Square, London, hosted by TV personality and science enthusiast Johnny Ball. Toumaz Technology's entry, 'Connected Freedom – Sensium Ultra Low-Power Wireless Body Monitoring System', is an ultra-low power smart sensor which can continuously monitor multiple vital health signs such as such as heart rate, body temperature and respiration remotely, without the need for bulky non-mobile equipment.
