Debuts imageSPECTRUM Software at Vision Expo West At Vision Expo West, Canon U.S.A., Inc., is showcasing its imageSPECTRUM Software and complete line of total digital imaging and workflow management solutions for eyecare professionals, at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas (October 4 – 6, 2007). Canon imageSPECTRUM software facilitates comprehensive study management and image capture control at the operator's finger tips, through an intuitive graphical interface that is simple and straightforward to use. This newly developed PC-based software package allows for quick, easy input and access to information and images. The DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine) Standard-compliant network interface enables easy integration with many existing image management systems and allows connection to a variety of network configurations such as LAN or WAN. Canon offers and markets a full line of digital imaging solutions for the ophthalmic world, including Non-Mydriatic and Mydriatic Retinal cameras, and full auto-tonometer and full auto-ref keratometers, all of which will be on display at the show. The Canon product line includes: - CR-DGi Non-Mydriatic Retinal Camera – The CR-DGi camera provides up to 8.2 megapixel resolution to enable the capture of well-defined retinal images which can help the eyecare professional detect and monitor pathologies, including glaucoma and diabetes. - CF-1 Mydriatic Digital Retinal Camera – The CF-1 camera provides up to 8.2 million pixels, is capable of delivering clear and detailed diagnostic images for virtually immediate review and offers outstanding operability.
