First Set of Pinnacle Studio 11 Contest Winners Announced

Pinnacle Systems has announced the August winners for its online Pinnacle Studio version 11 "Share Your Video Experience" contest. For the month of August only, there are two first-, second- and third-place awards. Submissions were posted atthis pageas they were received, in accordance with contest rules. Winners were selected by website visitors who viewed the videos, read about Pinnacle Studio version 11 user experiences and voted for their favorite videos.

First-place winners were Chris Shaw of Houston, TX for "An Unforgettable Engagement" and Jose Rodriguez of Maspeth, NY for "J-R You're Fired." They will each receive a Panasonic AVCHD camcorder. Second-place winners Sherry Ohern of Sugar Hill, GA for "Letters from Hawaii" and Tanya Morrill of Las Vegas, NV for "Mrs. Morrill's Class" will receive a Pinnacle PCTV To Go HD Wireless system. Third-place winners Francis Cao of Abbeville, LA for "Magic with Pinnacle Studio 11" and John Burris of Wake Village, TX for "Our Alaskan Vacation" will receive a Pinnacle PCTV HD Pro Stick.

Each month, Pinnacle staff members are also selecting their favorite video and highlighting it on the website for everyone to enjoy. For the month of August, the staff's favorite videos were submitted by Stephen J. Hemenway of Placenita, CA and Dale Steinkamp of Quincy, IL.

To enter the contest, participants submitted a 100-word description of their positive experience with Pinnacle Studio version 11 and a sample video. The contest will continue through the end of September and the September final results will be announced by mid-October.
