| HELIOS Introduces UB+ Cross-Platform Prepress Server Software HELIOS Software says it will introduce at Graph Expo the next generation of its Unbreakable Server Solutions, named HELIOS UB+. Advanced transparency support, incorporated into ImageServer UB+, PDF HandShake UB+, and PrintPreview UB+ is one of the highlights of the UB+ suite. In combination with the integrated PDF flattening it allows for flexible creative work and multi-purpose document usage. The use of transparencies has become a critical feature in modern prepress work, yet most RIPs lack support for PDFs containing transparencies. With overall transparency support and PDF flattening HELIOS UB+ ensures accurate and reliable proofing and print production.
