| Toshiba Announces the TLP-WX2200U 3LCD Mobile Projector Toshiba's Digital Products Division, a division of Toshiba America Information Systems, introduces the widescreen TLP-WX2200U 3LCD mobile projector for professionals, educators and consumers. Toshiba's newest projector matches today's widescreen notebook computer resolutions and offers a built-in theft deterrent technology, automatic vertical keystone correction and "blackboard" function with wall color adjustment. The compact and sleek 6.2-pound TLP-WX2200U LCD projector, utilizes 3LCD technology for outstanding color reproduction and an impressive 2,200 ANSI lumens for a bright display in any setting. The widescreen WXGA 1280 x 800 native resolution and sharp 600:1 contrast ratio outputs a superior and brilliant image for professional presentations and larger-than-life images for digital home entertainment, such as video gaming, weekend sports and DVD movies. The TLP-WX2200U projector also includes a sophisticated approach to security. A removable palm-sized control panel on the projector is specially designed with a self-assigned password for theft prevention. When the control panel is removed, the projector is rendered inoperable unless the password is entered on the remote control or when the control panel is replaced.
