EDGE Tech Corp has announced the release of its DiskGO Smart USB Flash Drive with Migo and the DiskGO Smart 2.5" Ultra Portable Hard Drive with Migo. The DiskGO Smart USB Flash Drive with Migo and the DiskGO Smart 2.5" Ultra Portable Hard Drive with Migo provide users the freedom to carry both critical data and numerous personal computer settings with them. The easy-to-use Migo software guides users through the steps necessary to synch a computer's main drive to one of these portable drives, allowing access to their personal settings on another PC. Users can take documents, Outlook, and Thunderbird emails and preferences, Internet Explorer or Firefox favorites and settings, and desktop background and shortcuts.

The Migo software also ensures data privacy with "leave-no-trace" functionality; all Internet and document history is purged when the drive is unplugged. Upon return to their PC, users can re-synch their new and/or modified documents and settings.

Users also have the option to synch data using the included Migo Secure application, which encrypts data with government standard 256-bit AES encryption. Ideal for students, business travelers, and everyone on the go, the DiskGO Smart USB Flash Drive with Migo and the DiskGO Smart 2.5" Ultra Portable Hard Drive with Migo provide convenience in carrying data and settings without the hassle of cumbersome laptops, CDs, or other storage devices. The DiskGO Smart 2.5″ Ultra Portable Hard Drive is the only hard drive in the marketplace bundled with Migo.

Under its distribution and marketing agreement with Migo, EDGE has a worldwide non-exclusive license to bundle the MigoSync version of the company's synchronization software on its DiskGO Smart Flash Drive and DiskGO Smart 2.5" Ultra Portable Hard Drive.
