| The University of Leeds Selects Blackboard e-Learning Solution Blackboard announces that the University of Leeds – Britain's second largest university and internationally acclaimed for the quality of its teaching and research – has selected the Blackboard Learning System, the Blackboard Community System and the Blackboard Content System. The university opted for Blackboard's e-Learning platform featuring three integrated products, that provide anytime/anywhere access for the university's 33,000 students and 7,300 staff across nine faculties. Leeds VLE Steering Group thoroughly evaluated Blackboard's products for a year on pedagogic, technical, commercial, legal and financial aspects. The university selected these Blackboard Academic Suite products following detailed feedback from staff and students.
