| Panda Software wins IT ChannelVision Best Software award Panda Software has won the IT ChannelVision award for "Best Product/Solution: Software". The award was presented on May 8th, at IT ChannelVision Spring 2007 in Hollwood, Florida (USA). The IT ChannelVision awards are based on the votes of leading system developers and integrators and IT channel solution providers and VARS. They aim to recognize technological innovation and initiative in fields such as commercial strategy and marketing. Other nominees in this category included BitDefender, ESET and Red Hat. Panda Software's retail products Panda Antivirus 2007, Panda Antivirus+Firewall 2007, and Panda Internet Security 2007 were also nominated for the prize of best software "by the top 100-Level retailers and distributors who are the market leaders in consumer technology", confirms Pete Prentice, Senior Global Director for Channel Events at Vision Events. Panda Software has recently developed NanoScan and TotalScan, new, powerful online antivirus solutions based on the 'collective intelligence' security approach.
