| Oerlikon Optics Introduces Step LightTunnel for DLP Projectors  Oerlikon Optics has announced the launch of Step LightTunnel, a new high temperature and longlife application for DLP projectors. Designed as an option to the standard LightTunnel, the Step LightTunnel is suited for high temperature applications such as projectors utilizing high power lamps to obtain improved lumens. The capabilities of the Step LightTunnel include 25,000 hours of life time usage, a maximum working temperature range from 200 to 400 Celsius degrees, and 10N/10mm mechanical strength at maximum working temperatures.Manufactured with high precision, state-of-the-art equipment and resources, the Step LightTunnel includes all of the features of Oerlikon's standard LightTunnel including: - Oerlikon coating IP, for example Silflex Patent No.: US 5.751.474; - Oerlikon manufacturing IP for example.
