IDC's 17th European ICT Forum Moves to Berlin

IDC announces the launch of its flagship European event, the ICT Forum, which moves from its former home in Paris to the Maritim Hotel in Berlin, and takes place on September 10 and 11, 2007.

Titled "Enterprise 2.0 - Capitalizing on Convergence", IDC's European ICT Forum will focus on the new generation of ICT solutions, with particular emphasis on convergence and the open, collaborative "Web 2.0" environments (e.g., blogs, RSS, mashups, wikis) that are predicted to drive new business models, restructuring value chains, reshaping the traditional boundaries, and revolutionizing businesses' ability to innovate and create new value.

The ICT Forum agenda will help delegates:
- Gain insight into the new Enterprise 2.0 management strategies;

- Understand how to best manage and profit from "collective intelligence" - using the open and collaborative 2.0 environments to become more innovative;
- Leverage the experiences of other CIOs and business executives in relation to the opportunities offered by the new Web 2.0 innovations.

Speakers include:
- Don Tapscott, IT strategist and author of "Wikinomics: How Mass Collaboration Changes Everything";
