FOXSports.com on MSN Unveils First Phase of Site Redesign

FOXSports.com on MSN, a unit of FOX Interactive Media, unveils the first phase of a site redesign that will deliver to sports fans a new, higher-resolution graphical presentation; enhanced video and personalization options; and a new, wide-screen format that will make more content available above the fold. The full redesign will roll out gradually over the next several months and will ultimately enable FOXSports.com to create an even more comprehensive hub of sports news, video and event coverage for the site's more than 15 million monthly unique users.

Key features of the redesign's initial phase include:
- Above the Fold - Thanks to the wider design, more content – both text and video – will be available to users above the fold, enabling fans to more easily discover news, scores and video features.
- Event Coverage - A new, more flexible editorial layout allows the site to deliver more comprehensive content packages around major sporting events - especially FOX Sports broadcast events, such as the Super Bowl, The Bowl Championship Series, NASCAR races and The World Series.
- Personalization - New community and personalization features will give fans the chance to customize their sports experience by choosing their favorite teams, building their own fan profile and interacting with other fans within a social network-style environment.

Now, the front page of FOXSports.com on MSN and each of the site's section front pages - NFL, MLB, NBA, NASCAR, NHL and Golf - will adopt the site's new design, and the entire redesign will be completed over the next several months.
