| Wembley Green Light Means Go Ahead for ICT Industry Solutions Showcase The news that the FA Cup Final will be staged at the Wembley this year means it's all systems go for the first technology show to be staged at the new stadium. Organisers of Comms Solutions 07 - a trade show for the Information and Communications Technology sector – were celebrating the Wembley go ahead this week ending months of speculation. "We are delighted and our decision to launch our new event at new Wembley gives delegates something to really look forward to", said Nigel Sergent show director at event organiser BPL Business Media. Stands at the May 9th/10th event are almost sold out and the recent addition of Cisco to the exhibitor line-up means the majority of the UK's major players supporting the ICT SMB channel will be at the event. The event will comprise a Solutions Expo on level one of The Corinthian Suite and a Margin Seminar Educational Theatre on level two overlooking the new Wembley pitch. Sergent added: "The channel has been asking us to hold an event of this nature for a long time. The SMB market is massive and the demand for fully converged solutions from this sector is set to grow exponentially this year driven by new networks and broadband take-up. Resellers need to know how to educate and motivate their customers about these new opportunities and Comms Solutions will be the place to gain that education. We are proud to be the first ICT event to hold an exhibition at the New Wembley Stadium just 10 days before the FA Cup Final and we are expecting huge interest." The Margin conference sessions will address key issues facing channel players keen to embrace the solutions model and will cover regulation, 21st Century network opportunities, new revenue models, security issues, voice to mobile integration and much more. All delegates for Comms Solutions 07 will have to be officially registered to gain entry to the Stadium. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Computing News :: home page |
