| Tangent's Computing Solutions to Run Microsoft Windows Vista Tangent has announced that its PC, workstation, server and mobile computing solutions are now shipping with Microsoft Windows Vista operating system. Vista is of particular importance to Tangent because the new operating system incorporates touch screen technology, which is a key option in Tangent's all-in-one VITA PCs. The VITA line combines the PC and a 17, 19 or 22-inch LCD display inside a slim, attractive, all-in-one chassis that fits ergonomically in any healthcare office, hospital room, or field environment. It is ideal for kiosks, wall mounting, medical carts and Computer On Wheel requirements. Later this month Tangent will unveil the VITA XR, an all-in-one solution specifically for radiology. The VITA XR combines the space saving and easy access of a wall-mounted X-Ray film viewer it replaces with the feature-rich functionality of today's advanced digital workstations. This means radiologists who have limited workspace don't have to interrupt patient interaction or workflow. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Computing News :: home page |
