IGEL Technology Enhances Its Compact Product Range

IGEL Technology has announced the enhanced Compact product range. Containing the latest VIA Eden processor and CN700 chipset with VIA V4 bus technology, the new Compact generation provides an average 30% performance improvement and new features such as dual monitor support.

The IGEL Compact series supports Linux, Windows CE and Windows XPe operating systems and is designed to provide users with performance, rich digital services, security and outstanding graphics at a very competitive price. This combination has made the Compact series IGEL's biggest selling product range worldwide.

All versions of the IGEL Compact series include an integrated smart card reader and come bundled with the IGEL Remote Manager suite. The IGEL Compact series consumes only 22W of power making it the most energy efficient thin client in IGEL's extensive range.

The IGEL-3210 LX Compact is based on IGEL Linux and comes with clients for ICA, RDP, ThinPrint, Ericom PowerTerm terminal emulation, Cisco VPN, VoIP and a Firefox internet browser. It is fully dual monitor capable allowing different sessions to be output to the built in VGA and DVI ports.

The IGEL-3610 XP Compact comes with clients for ICA, RDP, ThinPrint, Ericom PowerTerm, Microsoft Media Player and a full Internet Explorer web browser. It is fully dual monitor capable just like the 3210 LX.

The IGEL-3210 CE Compact is based on Windows CE and comes with clients for ICA, RDP, ThinPrint, Ericom PowerTerm and Microsoft VPN. It can output a single session to two monitors using the VGA and DVI ports.
