Cricket Leaps into the New Year with the Kyocera K323 Cameraphone

Kyocera Wireless and Leap Wireless International have announced the availability of the Kyocera K323 for Cricket customers. A compact camera phone with a soft-touch exterior, internal antenna and Bluetooth wireless technology, the K323 is well-designed to take full advantage of Cricket's flat-rate unlimited calling and texting plans.

Designed with ease of use in mind, the Kyocera K323 is sleek and compact with an external text caller ID and photo caller ID on the vivid internal color display. Dedicated one-touch buttons access a powerful speakerphone, volume controls and the phone's full-featured camera with an integrated flash and digital zoom. Photo touchup is easy for adjusting resolution, color and adding fun frames to favorite snapshots. The K323 also includes all the features voice purists need, including real-music ringtones and voice-activated dialing. For those who prefer to "talk" with their thumbs, multimedia text messaging and instant messaging are simplified with a large backlit keypad and predictive text input software for rapid text entry.

The Kyocera K323 is also compatible with Cricket's roaming service, Travel Time, and is mobile Web enabled for browsing the Web for sports, entertainment and movies. It can also download wallpapers, screensavers, games and ringtones directly over the air to add to those already included on the phone. The phone also features pre-loaded polyphonic ring tones and screen savers, a contact directory and volume controls on the side of the phone. Productivity tools include a scheduler, calculator, alarm clock, stopwatch, tip calculator, countdown timer and voice memos.

Measuring just 3.54 in. x 1.81 in. x 0.92 in., the K323 weighs only 3.4 ounces and has a CDMA talk time of up to 210 minutes and standby time of up to 165 hours.
