Roadmaster Announces VR3 Wireless Car Kits

Roadmaster USA will introduce the new Roadmaster VR3 Wireless Hands-Free Car Kits at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) held in Las Vegas, January 8-11, 2007. The Roadmaster VR3 Wireless Hands-Free Car Kits turn all Bluetooth enabled cell phones into speaker phones for safer hands-free use while driving. The kits are available in two models, the VR3 Hands-Free Car Kit (Model VRBT100P) and VR3 LCD Wireless Hands-Free Car Kit (Model VRBT200v).

Use of cell phones while driving is an emerging highway safety issue. States are studying the correlation between the use of cell phones while driving and the number of resulting vehicle accidents. Fourteen states already have laws requiring the use of hands-free cell phone devices while driving. Drivers know that it's safer to use a hands-free cell phone, but are often discouraged from using them by the discomfort and difficulty of wearing cumbersome wired or wireless headsets.

The Roadmaster VR3 Wireless Hands-Free Kits solve this problem by providing an external speakerphone that doesn't need to be worn, but is attached to the car's visor or cigarette lighter. It is always wirelessly ready for use and hooks up to your cell phone with a quick touch of a button. No uncomfortable headsets or wires are needed to operate your cell phone safely while driving.

The Roadmaster VR3 Hands-Free Car Kit plugs directly into the car's cigarette lighter for constant charging. No installation is required, just plug it in and you're ready to use the speaker phone wirelessly with your Bluetooth cell phone. The unit adjusts to 3 positions and has a built-in noise suppression/echo cancellation microphone and one-touch Bluetooth connection, answer button, and volume control.

The Roadmaster VR3 LCD Wireless Hands-Free Car Kit fits on your car's sun visor for an instant speaker phone that synchs with all Bluetooth cell phones with the touch of a button. It includes an adjustable cool blue backlit LCD screen to view caller ID, call waiting, call forwarding and last number re-dial and it also supports ringtones. Its rechargeable lithium ion battery can be easily charged in the car's cigarette lighter.
