Leveraging the power of Bluetooth wireless technology and Sound ID's in-depth knowledge of how the human ear processes sound, the devices break new ground in the Bluetooth arena – delivering wire-free connectivity convenience while simultaneously addressing users' specific hearing preferences. Following in the footsteps of the PSS-Pro, PSS-SoundFlavors and PSS-SoundMate are designed for consumers looking to enhance sound quality in-person and in mobile phone conversations. Ready to use, right out-of-the box, the stylish and ergonomically designed devices ensure that consumers experience enhanced sound with maximum comfort and convenience. All Sound ID Personal Sound Systems include a Bluetooth-enabled EarModule and a dual charging base, which will also accommodate the optional Bluetooth-enabled CompanionLink microphone. SoundFlavors optimizes sound for each user's hearing preferences. Simply select from one of three self-adjustable "sound flavor" profiles. SoundFlavors options include: Mild sound enhancement, Mild to moderate sound enhancement and Moderate sound enhancement. SoundFlavors operates in four modes: - Amplification Mode – Offering enhancement of sounds in your environment via use of a pre-configured SoundFlavors profile. - Phone Mode – Amplifying on-the-go conversations when paired with a Bluetooth-enabled handset. - CompanionLink Mode – Worn on a partner's lapel or placed on a table, CompanionLink dramatically improves one-on-one and group discussions in noisy backgrounds and is excellent for enhancing TV listening. - One2One Mode – Pairing two EarModules improves one-to-one speech intelligibility in adverse listening environments. write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Computing News :: home page |
