| MakeMusic Releases Finale NotePad 2007 MakeMusic has announced the release of Finale NotePad 2007. Based on the Finale music notation software, NotePad now includes native support for both Intel- and PowerPC-based Macintosh as well as Windows computers. NotePad offers many features for music educators, students and hobbyists, including compatibility with Finale 2007 files. The software is especially popular with educators, allowing them to create assignments in Finale and share these creations with their students via NotePad. Like Finale, NotePad includes more than 128 professional-grade sounds from the award-winning SmartMusic practice system – these sounds ensure that playback is consistent between users of NotePad and Finale.
