| Parrot to Launch Bluetooth Hands-Free System Parrot is a specialist in Bluetooth hands-free telephony in the car. The company designs and markets advanced hands- free systems which are compatible with Bluetooth-equipped mobile phones. The BTHFU, developed jointly with Visteon, integrates Parrot innovations such as digital signal processing, echo-cancellation and noise reduction, which will first be installed in the Nissan Bluebird Sylphy in China. Parrot is one of a small number of companies working to develop its own Bluetooth protocol stack as opposed to relying on third-party code.
