| Fujifilm Rolls Out Fujifilm FinePix A700 with a 7.3-Megapixel Sensor ![]() The seven MegaPixel Fujifilm FinePix A700 is the latest progression in the series and offers users the greatest photo flexibility. While seven MegaPixels is more than enough resolving power for a standard, 4x6-inch picture, the extra resolution generated by the Super CCD sensor opens the door to user creativity as digital photos can be converted to poster size prints or cropped without a loss in eye-catching quality. As an added bonus, Fujifilm's Super CCD technology is also responsible for the Fujifilm FinePix A700's low noise performance across its ISO 100-400 sensitivity range. Less noise in photos leads to sharper, crisper pictures. As they search for a new digital camera, consumers should keep in mind the following noteworthy features of the FinePix A700: - A 7.3 MegaPixel Super CCD HR sensor that delivers first-class digital images, even if they are enlarged or cropped. - A 3x Fujinon optical zoom lens developed specifically for the FinePix A- series by Fujinon, a Fujifilm sister company and leading provider of broadcast-grade television lenses. - A 2.4-inch LCD that enables easy viewing and playback. It features an anti-glare coating for improved viewing in direct light. - Automatic ISO setting up to ISO 400 with low noise. - Four scene modes - Portrait, Landscape, Sport and Night - for top quality photos in a variety of shooting conditions. - Internal memory: FinePix A700 users are sure to take a lot of pictures, so a little extra storage space is always helpful. The camera has approximately 12MB of on-board storage just in case the removable, xD-Picture Card (sold separately) fills with photos. - Two AA batteries power the FinePix A700, a real convenience for users as AA batteries are readily available. write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Computing News :: home page |
