| Qwest Wireless Introduces New Ultraslim Camera Phone Qwest Communications International has announced that Qwest Wireless is offering its thinnest-ever wireless phone, offering essential and innovative features and functionality in one slim handset. The new Sanyo 6600 Katana will be available in Sapphire Blue and Mystic Black. Beyond its slim and lightweight silhouette, measuring less than six-tenths of an inch thick and weighing just 3.4 ounces, the Katana is capable of downloading premium applications, including a global positioning application with full-color maps and turn-by-turn directions (with subscription to additional features). In addition, the Katana includes a camera with digital zoom, self-timer and storage for up to 33 high-resolution photos; a large 2.2 inch color internal display; and supports Bluetooth Wireless Technology. Qwest Wireless customers, including new Katana customers, can receive free on-network calls between their wireless and home phone, and free nights and weekends for calls initiated after 9 p.m. so their minutes go further. These benefits are available on all plans with 500 minutes or more when combined on one convenient bill with Qwest Digital Voice. Plus, with qualifying Qwest long-distance and local service, customers get free unlimited night and weekend domestic long-distance calling from their home phone. Qwest Wireless customers can also choose special options so their wireless and Qwest home phone services work together, with one-number service for smart call-forwarding and one voice mail box to retrieve messages with a single call. write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Computing News :: home page |
