Dangers Children Face in the Internet, and the Solutions to These Dangers

In this article I will discuss the dangers children face in the internet, and the solutions to thesedangers. Today, almost every child has access to internet. This comes thanks to the advance in technology, but has also risks involved. Did you know that:
* The average age when the children encounter pornography in the internet is 11.
* The age of the largest pornography consumer group in the internet is Between 12 to 17.
* 85% of children between the ages 6-16 encountered pornographic content intentionally or
unintentionally (most of them while preparing their homework).
* 25% of children between ages 9-17 will freely disclose their home address in the internet.
* 60% of children who committed suicide, declared their intentions online directly or indirectly.
* One in five children who use the computer chat rooms has been approached over the internet by
pedophiles.
* Only 25% of youth who received sexual solicitation told a parent.

Research shows that everyday about 60000 pedophiles look for children in the internet, in order to establish trust based friendships that will eventually lead to face to face encounters.

Who has not heard the stories of children being abused by pedophiles whom they have met over the internet? Some of us ask ourselves where the parents of the child have been, and why they have not stopped this. The answer is simple, they simply did not know.

Some of them did not know about this new world and its risks and most of them did not have the needed tools to detect and prevent the risk. If only they could read the online interactions between the child and the pedophile, they could have stopped the meeting from taking place.

Can we blame the parents? I am sure most of them educated their children the best way they could, but it turns out that education alone does not suffice. Even a smart and responsible child can make wrong decisions that will bring tragic results.

The children today are very sophisticated and most of us parents do not have the knowledge to know what they are doing behind their closed doors in front of the computer. Are they browsing to inappropriate websites, are they downloading illegal content using P2P programs that will in the future result in lawsuits of thousands of dollars, what personal information they disclose about themselves, are they talking to adults, or maybe they meet them?

How can we deal with a danger we are not prepared for, and we do not have the knowledge for dealing with it? Is education alone sufficient? Apparently not.

I promised solutions as well, did not I?
The easiest solution is to simply prevent our children from browsing the internet. I am sure most of you understand that this solution is not practical. If we limit the use of internet, the child will access it somewhere else (e.g., at his or her friends, school lab, library, etc).

Another solution is to prevent our children from browsing the internet without our supervision. Again, an impractical solution, as most of us do not have the time to supervise our children in all those hours they are browsing the internet. And this without mentioning all the arguments they will rise as a result of this.

Can we found a solution that will enable us what exactly our children our doing in front of the computer without being with them all the time, and even without their knowing that we are supervising them? This solution must also take into consideration the fact that the technical knowledge of our children in operating the computer far surpasses ours.

The answer is Yes, the solution does exist and is within our reach, and its name is All In One Keylogger. All In One Keylogger is invisible and easy-to-use surveillance software that allows you, the parent, to secretly track all activities from all computer users for a later view and even send the logs to your e-mail account. All In One Keylogger logs all keystrokes and passwords that have been typed, all windows and applications that have been launched, clipboard, chat conversations, all Web sites that have been visited, e-mails sent and received. You can set it to take screen snapshots every few seconds or on each mouse click, just like a surveillance camera. It can also record Microphone sounds and restrict the access to specified Web sites and applications.

All In One Keylogger automatically activates itself when Windows starts and is not shown in Taskbar, Task Manager, Uninstall List, and System tray (Runs in complete stealth).

Does this solution solve all the problems?
* All In One Keylogger is intended for parents and so it is very easy to use and does not require any previous knowledge.
* All In One Keylogger will provide us with an accurate and comprehensive picture of all the activities taken place in the computer during all the hours of the day.
* All In One Keylogger is completely stealth. Your children will never know it is there.
* All In One Keylogger will enable us to block access to websites or programs that we would like to block.

Despite all, not everything is perfect. This solution has only one drawback, which is called privacy. Does this solution harm the privacy of our children?
The answer is yes. Can this solution potentially save the lives of our children? The answer is yes. What is more important? It is your decision to make.
