| Safend Protector 3.0 Now Available Safend has announced general availability of Safend Protector 3.0. This upgrade to Safend's award-winning product, Safend Protector, protects from information leakage, malicious attacks and penetration while offering auditing capabilities over the physical and wireless ports of enterprise PCs and laptops. Safend Protector 3.0's enhanced security features include Cisco NAC integration, Microsoft's WHQL certification, and Check Point interoperability testing (OPSEC), ensuring comprehensive security as well as full compatibility with current and future Windows Operating System and other leading desktop, communications and security products. The upgraded product allows secure use of smart USB devices, such as U3 drives, as well as secure use of approved storage devices and wireless communication networks. Safend Protector 3.0 provides protection from hardware key logger devices, providing endpoint immunization from password and identity theft. Safend Protector 3.0 now features a centralized management console which can be installed and run from any computer on the enterprise network, providing unified management of policies, logs and Protector clients. Enhanced logging and reporting features have been added to provide visibility into user activity required by regulatory mandates. Active Directory synchronization and real-time updates allow security administrators to know what devices are connected where, and which files have been accessed or copied to or from each device.
