| Veteran Palm Executive Joins July Systems July Systems announces it has appointed Michael Lunsford, a Silicon Valley software and hardware industry veteran, as July's VP of Product Management. Michael brings to July 20 years of experience delivering products for the mobile and wireless markets at such companies as Palm Inc., EverNote, ViaFone, MobileAria and Sony America. Michael is a recipient of numerous patent awards, author of over a dozen books on computer technology, and a speaker at business and technology conferences around the world. Prior to July, Michael was VP of product management for EverNote Corp., a provider of note management, digital ink and handwriting recognition software and technologies for the PC, mobile and wireless device markets. Michael also directed cross-functional teams in wireless technologies as VP of product management at MobileAria, product marketing director at ViaFone, and multimedia producer at Sony America. At Palm Inc., he directed the design and development of the top-selling Palm V and Vx and introduced, evangelized, and directed Palm's original wireless Bluetooth implementations. Michael is a recipient of Palm Inventor Awards for 44 patent applications. Michael is also the founder of software publishing company Macropac International, where his flagship product was named among PC World's Top 30 Products of the Year.
