| Toshiba's 4-Gigabyte SDHC Memory Card to Ship in September ![]() Toshiba announces a 4GB SDHC card that exceeds the Class 4 minimum write speed of 4MB/s. Cards up to 32-gigabytes can be developed that conform to this standard in the future. These higher capacity memory cards are made for use in applications such as digital video cameras and digital cameras capable of recording video segments and high-resolution pictures, or to provide storage for a larger number of digital photos. The Toshiba's new product features: the 4GB capacity enables video and high resolution digital pictures to be stored on memory cards; supports SDHC Class 4, with a minimum write speed of 4MB/s; adopts CPRM advanced copyright protection function.
