Digital Atlantic Releases CDRoller 6.11 for Windows

Digital Atlantic Corp. has released CDRoller 6.11 for Windows 95/98/ME/NT4/2000/XP, a toolset for CD and DVD data recovery. CDRoller retrieves the data from the discs created by "drag and drop" CD/DVD writing software, such as well-known Roxio and Ahead Nero software packages. The program also finds and recovers accidently deleted files, files on quick-formatted discs, files on incorrectly closed discs (due to a power failure or system crash), etc.

CDRoller recovers CD and DVD data (photos and video clips), created by standalone devices, including: Sony Mavica digital cameras, DVD camcorders, personal DVD recorders, etc. The force scan option allows you to find and rescue the files off the disc even if the system partition seems to be inaccessible.

CDRoller 6.11 offers a set of different data recovery options. You can recover all or only selected objects, view and save an intermediate results, resume a recovery of the same file and change recovery settings without leaving the process.

CDRoller 6.11 has an updated File Identifier which lets you recognize more than 1000 files types by their contents, and assigns the proper extension to the file so that a Windows application can open the recovered file.

CDRoller 6.11 gives you a new friendly and easy-to-use User Interface with support of Windows XP Themes, an intuitive list of CD/DVD recovery commands and built-in adviser with basic recommendations for beginners.

CDRoller 6.11 is available for Windows 95/98/ME/NT4/2000/XP. It requires a Pentium or compatible CPU, 5 megabytes of HDD space and a CD or DVD drive.
