| Telrex Announces IntelRex 3.1 Telrex has announced the release of IntelRex version 3.1, enhancing inside-out security and employee productivity for small and medium businesses. With IntelRex, small and medium businesses can affordably track employee computer and internet activity, including instant messaging sessions, email messages sent and received, websites visited, applications used, and keystrokes typed, as well as capture screenshots of employee activity. IntelRex's new version 3.1 introduces real-time computer monitoring, enabling managers to spot check employee activity by viewing their computers in real-time. Version 3.1 also includes a Configuration Wizard that enables users to get IntelRex up and running in minutes. Firewalls, anti-virus and anti-spam tools address "outside-in" security, but most security threats are created by employees intentionally or unintentionally distributing confidential information. The 2005 CSI/FBI Computer Crime and Security Survey found security breaches were equally as likely to originate externally as internally, and losses from the theft of proprietary information increased by 110% from 2004 to 2005. IntelRex 3.1 allows businesses to take control of unproductive employee activity by recording, monitoring and measuring how much time employees spend each day on the web, email, and instant messaging. IntelRex allows management to understand - and correct - the cost of non-productive employee activity. write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Computing News :: home page |
