| Engineous Software to Release FIPER 2.0 Engineous Software announces the shipping of FIPER 2.0 worldwide. FIPER 2.0 delivers leading manufacturers a robust infrastructure for storing, sharing, and deploying integrated design analysis models and processes across the engineering enterprise. Security, reliability, and larger scale deployment is the main focus of the FIPER 2.0 release. Key development partners like General Electric, Honeywell, Goodrich, and Pratt & Whitney helped define requirements and test the new release. Other partners and customers include IBM, Bombardier, LMI Government Services, Procter & Gamble, the US Army, and Airbus. With the latest FIPER release, Engineous has also upgraded its middleware and hardware support. FIPER 2.0 includes support for WebSphere Application Server v6.02 and DB2 database v8.2.
