The appliance has been launched to ensure that the company's newest 3.5 Critical Service Monitoring software – and future software upgrades – function at optimum efficiency. Key features of the new Mutiny appliance include: • Sufficient CPU power and memory to monitor over 1, 000 devices per minute (on a suitably configured network) • Data storage for more than 12 months of historical data • Gigabit NICs to allow rapid data collection and GUI access • SMS alerting via USB analogue and GPRS modems The new appliance will become the backbone of the Mutiny product range for many years to come.
