Panini's Microsoft Certified USB Driver for the My Vision X

Panini North America has released a new driver for their My Vision X family of distributed check capture devices. As part of Panini's Software Version 2.12.1.2, this Microsoft Certified USB driver will enable true plug and play compatibility for USB connectivity with support for both USB 2.0 and 1.X. Panini was the first check scanning company to offer USB connectivity.

The new WHQL (Windows Hardware Quality Lab) driver has passed Microsoft's HCT (Hardware Compatibility Test) for device drivers for Windows XP (32 bit) and Windows 2000 Pro. As such, Microsoft has provided a signed catalog file for this driver that allows installations to proceed without warnings regarding "unsigned" drivers. The new driver offers a robust and stable environment supporting all required USB features and driver handlers.

Panini passed a variety of tests and conditions specific to Microsoft operating systems to obtain the signed driver. Completing the Microsoft WHQL test assures Panini customers of the driver's compatibility with their operating system. The certification also lends itself to effortless USB installation and prevents USB disconnect/reconnect issues.
