Oki Data Americas has introduced the C5500n digital color printer, a fast and affordable printer with robust features that enable it to expand with the needs of businesses. Combining new microfine toner and multilevel LED heads from OKI Printing Solutions, it showcases "HD (high-definition) Color" technology, which gives business users photo-like quality on regular office paper. The C5500n offers print speeds of up to 20 pages per minute (ppm) in color, 24 ppm in black-and-white. The HD Color technology enables output from the C5500n to surpass the quality of other sub-$1.000 color laser printers on the market.
