| Idera's SQLsafe Version 3.0 is Available Idera has announced the availability of SQLsafe version 3.0, its high performance backup and recovery solution for SQL Server databases. Designed to meet the needs of enterprise SQL Server implementations, SQLsafe provides fast-compressed and secure-encrypted backup, automates multi-server backup, and eases management of SQL Server backup and restores across large SQL Server environments. SQLsafe version 3.0 significantly reduces backup time and downtime for SQL Server 2005 environments. In a recent benchmark conducted with NEC Solutions America, Texas Memory Systems and Emulex Corporation, SQLsafe set a new performance record achieving SQL Server backup speeds in excess of 4.5 terabytes per hour and restores speeds in excess of 2.3 terabytes per hour.
