BMC Software to Acquire Identify Software Ltd.

BMC Software, Inc. today announced that it has offered to acquire 100 percent of Identify Software Ltd. Under the terms of the acquisition agreement, BMC will pay approximately $150 million in cash for the shares.

The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions. BMC expects the transaction to close during the first quarter of FY2007.
