| NetEnrich's Version 1.6 of Virtual Private Management Gateway NetEnrich, Inc. has announced general availability of Release 1.6 of its Virtual Private Management (VPM) Gateway product. Release 1.6 extends the out-of-band remote management capabilities of VPM Gateway by integrating seamlessly to in-band consoles from Microsoft RDP, VNC, SSH and Telnet and securing their communication. This means that customers who have made substantial investments in these industry standard consoles do not need to make tradeoffs when considering NetEnrich. Additionally, Release 1.6 offers new feature sets and enhancements in many areas that increase the scale and scope of remote management for customers: - Fast performance over WAN and slow-speed, low-latency modem lines (64kbps) - Support for USB virtual media emulation - Integration to analog KVM switches - At-a-glance dashboard to show reachability of site devices - Automatic discovery of devices - Modem support to provide alternate path when WAN is down - Integration to 3rd party trouble ticketing - NFS storage for archival of session "flight recorder" recordings. write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Computing News :: home page |
