| emFAST Inc. Introduces FACSys'R' 5.0 Enterprise Edition emFAST Inc. has announced that FACSys 5.0 Enterprise Edition will be ready for market on March 31, 2006. FACSys 5.0 Enterprise Edition is a fax server application powered by a Microsoft SQL engine. While the FACSys Administrator and Desktop Clients retain their familiar look and feel, the new FACSys Enterprise Browser delivers a secure web-based interface. Testers of FACSys 5.0 Enterprise Edition reported a huge benefit when fax-enabling their third-party software applications. By storing all of the fax data and images right in the SQL system, they could easily connect and integrate with FACSys. FACSys 5.0 Enterprise Edition also includes automatic server to server failover, scalability for thousands of users and millions of documents, direct access from Outlook, Active Directory Integration, single secure login to multiple servers, support for T.37/T.38 IP Fax Protocols, support for Cantata Technology's (formerly Brooktrout) High Performance SR140 Host-Based Fax Processing Technology, backward compatibility to existing applications written with the FACSys Active Fax Messaging Software Development Kit (AFMSDK) and compatibility with any document management program. FACSys can fax-enable SAP, Siebel, Microsoft CRM and Oracle among others. In fact, ANY application that can print or e-mail a document can easily be fax-enabled using FACSys.
