New higher capacity 4GB Secure Digital flash media cards by PNY Technologies, Inc. can store 788 images for photo enthusiasts with a 3 mega pixel digital camera, and even more images with higher mega pixel cameras. It will be available in Q1 2006. Eliminate the need for card readers with PNY Technologies' new SD Card with built in USB connectivity. The new dual-function device works seamlessly in any SD card slot of digital cameras, PDAs, camcorders and camera phones. The device can be plugged directly into a USB port allowing users to easily transfer and store files. Available in Q2 2006, PNY's SD Card with USB Connector will come in 256MB and 512MB capacities. PNY's new SD Card features an LED that illuminates when plugged into a slot of an SD-compatible device. Available in Q2 2006, the cards will come in 256MB (red), 512MB (green) and 1GB (purple) capacities to pack large amounts of memory and high speed performance onto a compact form factor. For the professional photographer that requires high speed data transfer, PNY's 512MB and 1GB H-Type xD-Picture Cards can achieve write speeds up to 2-3 times faster than standard and Type-M xD-Picture Card when used with Olympus digital cameras.
