Responsys Interact 5.5 is Released

Responsys has announced the release of Responsys Interact 5.5, the latest version of the company's email marketing automation software. With enhanced web analytics integration and built-in support for web analytics vendors, including Coremetrics, Omniture, WebSideStory, and WebTrends, Responsys Interact 5.5 makes it even easier for marketers to integrate their email and web-based marketing efforts for improved ROI.

The extraordinary value gained by integrating email marketing and web analytics has become evident over the past year, with the early adopters reporting significant improvements in revenue, net profit, and overall marketing ROI. In fact, JupiterResearch reported a nine times revenue improvement over broadcast campaigns in its 2005 report, "The ROI of Email Relevance".

Many of the leading web analytics vendors and email service providers have performed initial integrations to accelerate time to value for customers. With the release of Interact 5.5, Responsys takes the integration even deeper, offering simple yet powerful out-of-the-box support for the leading web analytics solutions.

Responsys Interact 5.5 provides a combination of new and enhanced features, including:

-- Next-generation web analytics integration, with seamless connectivity to leading solutions from Coremetrics, Omniture, WebSideStory, and WebTrends.

-- New support for Short Message Service (SMS) campaigns: Email marketers can now send mobile text message campaigns in batch mode, or trigger them to automatically alert and notify people based on individual lifecycle events. Dynamic content personalization is fully supported.

-- Enhanced language support: International marketers gain new translations for email footers and response pages, with support for 16 languages, 10 character sets, and UTF-8 encoding.

-- Improved security: Administrators can enforce a desired level of password strength for all users across all accounts.
