| Support for MSN Search and MS Outlook SoonR has announced support for MSN Search and MS Outlook. SoonR registered users can now access Outlook on their PCs as well as search any file, email, contact or event and send email from any Web enabled phone leveraging MSN Search on the PC - no synchronization is required. Instead of copying or synchronizing information from Outlook to the limited memory of the mobile phone, SoonR users can directly access all the contacts and emails stored in Outlook regardless of size. The SoonR service will only move the requested data, optimized for the handset, typically resulting in faster performance, especially for slow data networks. In addition, users can share their Outlook Calendars with other mobile and browser based users without the need for an Exchange server or a third party service. Desktop Search functionality brings an extremely powerful tool to the mobile user - it's like having your entire PC with you on your mobile phone. Anything that can be indexed on your desktop, including email and contacts, is now accessible from your phone, anywhere you may roam. The SoonR solution supports enhanced security concerns as sensitive information is not stored on the phone, but retrieved only when needed. write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Computing News :: home page |
