| JNetDirect's JSQLConnect 5.5 - Support for JDBC 4.0 XML Type JNetDirect Incorporated has announced the release of JSQLConnect 5.5. The latest upgrade supports the new XML features of the future JDBC 4.0 API specification. Additional features include enhanced support for the BLOB and CLOB SQL data types and support for the new Java Standard Edition Service Provider, a connection status API, and the new prepared statement pooling API. The upgrade allows developers to work with XML data as a new JDBC data type.
