The new version introduces significant new capabilities to access and integrate enterprise-level data from a variety of sources, enhancements to the design suite and new printer management capabilities. Now, both versions of CODESOFT 8 use a software activation method which replaces the conventional hardware protection key (dongle) that was previously required to run the software. The activation process is simple, and requires only that users validate the license on their PC using the activation code they receive with the installation CD. With this new software activation process, users no longer have to worry about the inconvenience of hardware key related issues. CODESOFT supports over 1000 thermal/thermal transfer printers and label applicators and dozens of RFID printers, including read/write printers, as well as any Windows-based printer.
