PEPPE VOLTARELLI - LA GRANDE CORSA VERSO LUPIONÒPOLIS // NEW VISAGE MUSIC ALBUM 2023

Peppe Voltarelli returns with "La grande corsa verso Lupionòpolis" ("The Great Race to Lupionòpolis"), the new album of unreleased tracks available on all digital platforms from 26 May 2023 published by Visage Music.
This is the first unreleased album eight years after the publication of the successful 'Voltarelli canta Profazio' (Voltarelli sings Profazio) and two years after 'Planetario', both works awarded the Targa Tenco as best performing album 2016 and 2021 respectively.
The Calabrian singer-songwriter presents his new collection of songs recorded in New York by Marc Urselli (three Grammy Awards and collaborations with Nick Cave and Lou Reed) at Manhattan's historic EastSide Sound Studios, artistically produced and arranged by Los Angeles-based Italian pianist Simone Giuliani (to his credit, productions with Bocelli and the London Simphony Orchestra).

The album, which contains 10 new tracks including eight songs in Calabrian dialect, one in Italian, and an instrumental waltz, was recorded last February and features musicians of international calibre such as Davin Hoff (double bass), Jake Owen (guitars), Stephane San Juan (drums), Mauro Refosco (percussion) and with the participation of Eleanor Norton on cello, Dough Wieselman saxophone and clarinet, and Amy Denio vocals.

The album will be accompanied by the videoclip of the song 'Non signo sulu mai' shot in New York and directed by Giacomo Triglia (Brunori Sas, Lucio Dalla and Maneskin), the song features Seattle-based singer and multi-instrumentalist Amy Denio of The Tiptons Sax Quartet as a guest.
