50 Years MPS + new re-issue from Oscar Peterson w/t Claus Ogerman presented by MPS ambassador Till Brönner

MPS Record is celebrating its 50th birthday with a new re-issue series called Ambassadors for MPS. After Gilles Peterson for Joanne Grauer, Ed Motta for Michael Naura Quartet and Götz Alsmann for Art van Damme presents Till Brönner his most favorite record - Oscar Peterson with Claus Ogerman on Motions & Emotions! Till Brönner is most known jazz trumpet player from Germany. If you never heard of him feel free to check out his Wikipedia article. On this extra ordinary record the arranger and conducter Claus Ogerman and Oscar Peterson are working together on pieces like "Sunny", "Wave", "Ode to Billy Joe" or "By The Time I get To Phoenix", give them a try if you never heard these versions!

Till Brönner is speaking about his most favorite jazz record:
"The question "What are your favorite albums?" is usually not easy to answer, except in my case, because Motions & Emotions by Oscar Peterson is indeed my absolute favorite album. There is no situation in which I do not want to hear this album and that is a great compliment. I would take it to any lonely island with me, because it embodies everything that fascinates me about music and above all about jazz: virtuosity and honesty, taste, feelings and huge inner conflicts. In my opinion Motions & Emotions might well be the perfect instrumental album.
