Music for Humanity Special Concert Fund Raiser - Save the Date

I've heard him play a few times and was honored and humbled that one of the Mid-Hudson's finest musicians offered to donate a concert to benefit Music for Humanity. Richard Kimball has received a Lifetime Achievement Award from both the Orange County NY Arts Council and the Hudson Valley Jazz Festival. Join us on Sunday, October 28th 4PM at the Warwick Reformed Church, 16 Maple Ave, Warwick NY when Richard will be joined by Rick Savage on trumpet for what will undoubtedly be a glorious musical event. Here's a little taste of Richard's brilliant playing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpCKXPZ6P-I In Richard's own words: "Pianist/composer Richard Kimball and Trumpet player/educator Rick Savage perform a fund-raising concert specializing in their own interpretations of some wonderful, but not well known in the US Brazilian composers Kimball has worked with. Also will be some original works by Kimball and icons of the US jazz repertoire, Herbie Hancock and John Coltrane. The music just about "covers the spectrum" for well rounded listeners, and it has a variety of rhythms and forms not always heard here. Kimball, a Steinway Artist, will be playing on his own Hamburg Steinway concert grand which will be moved there for this one event. It's a fund raiser for "Music for Humanity", the local (501c3) charity that sponsors young musicians to continue their training."
I'll add that MFH has given $82, 000 in music scholarships many to students in Orange County NY. You can see the 2018 scholarship winners here. I hope you can attend. No tickets, just show up and make a donation, doors open at 3:30. Give what you can; the suggested donation is $20. Thanks for your support. If you can't make it please visit our website to see how you can help us spread more music throughout the world: http://musicforhumanity.org
