Gabriela Martina is a Boston/New York-based composer, vocalist and producer who has performed her "completely original" music worldwide and collaborated with a wide range of exceptional musicians including Meshell Ndegeocello, Jack DeJohnette, John Medeski and Angelique Kidjo. In addition, she recorded with veteran drummer J.R. Robinson and performed at 2009 Montreux Jazz Festival with guitarist Lee Ritenour's band as a semi-finalist in the Shure Voice Competition. Her debut album No White Shoes earneda 4-star review in DownBeat Magazine.

Martina's upcoming album Hommage to Grämlis, is a tribute to the farm in the Swiss Alps where she was raised. The first video single Song for My Fatheris now available here[AB1].Another new piece, 'Mother Mary'will be released in the next few weeks. She will be presenting a preview of her Swiss yodeling mixed with Jazz in concert on Friday, September 21 at Club Bonafide in NYC.
