SIM São Paulo - Showcase opportunity

SIM São Paulo is one of the most important music conventions in Latin America. During five days, the city becomes a meeting point for professionals from all sectors of the music industry, as well as artists and media from both Brazil and abroad.
The event focus on the new music market and promotes new ideas and concepts which are transforming the music scene. SIM connects people, introducing activities that follow three different lines:

The presentation of new music trends (SIM LIVE);
Access to up-to-date and relevant information (CONVENTION);
Incentives to form new partnerships (Networking & Business).
SIM São Paulo gives artists and bands the opportunity to perform at Centro Cultural São Paulo on December 6th, 7th and 8th, from 3pm to 8:30pm, as part of the official line-up of showcases.

Applications will be on-line from June 29th to August 12th 2018. A total of 27 artists will be selected and their names will be announced on September 3rd. If you are interested in performing, go to Showcase SIM São Paulo and apply now!

Good luck!

The event will be held on Wednesday December 5th to Sunday December 9th 2018, in São Paulo— the 4th largest city in the world and the music capital of South America – with live music showcases hosted at venues across the city and a music conference at the CCSB (Centro Cultural São Paulo).
"Ever since our last visit, we have been anxious to get back to one of, if not the, most exciting music region in the world. To be able to showcase three Australian artists in our second year is a testament to the relationships that were forged during the first mission and the ever increasing opportunities being heralded for artists and business across Latin America".

Millie Millgate, Executive Producer, SOUNDS AUSTRALIA

The 2017 edition featured showcases in 24 clubs around the city, attracting a public of over 30, 000. Music professionals from 21 countries participated, with showcases from Sounds Australia (DZ Deathrays, Ali Barter, The Kite String Tangle), British Underground (DJ Emily Dust with Poté and Kojey Radical, and Nubya Garcia and Yussef Dayes Quartet), SODEC, (Vox Sambou, KROY and We are Wolves) CIMA (Bruno Capinan, Emma Cook and Julie Neff) and the French Export Bureau (DJ Acid Arab, KillASon). The workshops, panels and seminars attracted over 2500 badge-holders.

For international delegates wanting to better understand the Brazilian music market and meet its key players, SIM São Paulo is the perfect place: SIM has so much to offer; great showcases, excellent networking opportunities and thought-provoking panels."
