Musician Angela C. Howell Bids Farewell to 2017 at the Top of the Charts

Multi-talented musician Angela C. Howell is sending 2017 out in style. With three songs in the Top 100 on the Friday Morning Quarterback Charts, Angela is foreshadowing a taste of what's to come in 2018.

After delivering some much needed holiday cheer with soon to be classics "Shimmy Down My Chimney" (#65) and "Snap Me a Selfie Santa" (#71), she topped off the winter with #21 "There's Nothin' I Don't Love, " a sultry ballad that will keep listeners warm through the rest of the winter. This trifecta of top hits is a noteworthy feat that Angela C. Howell will be celebrating this New Year's Eve. Listeners aren't the only ones taking notice. Critics are responding to Angela's master musicianship with glowing reviews.

"There's Nothin' I Don't Love" is delish! The cool and stylish melody gets under your skin, while the rhythmic pulsations cause your body to sway to the emotion of the music. And Howell's velvety, steamy voice captivates. If her forthcoming album is just half as good as this song, it promises to be delectable, " says contributor Randy Radic of HuffPost.

Johnny Taylor, Jr. of NowHearThisMusic says "New York jazz singer, Angela C. Howell has a new cut called "There's Nothin' I Don't Love" and it's burning up the Adult Contemporary charts. It's the first single off her seventh studio release, due out in Spring of 2018. ...She possesses what all great singer's do and that's the ability to make me feel like what she's saying is real."

"Shimmy Down My Chimney" and "Snap Me a Selfie Santa" are featured tracks on Angela's album, "An Original Christmas." The album was conceived of as a collection of sassy new Christmas classics that had not yet been heard... until now. Angela's very talented husband and well-known musician Scott Hopkins contributed catchy basslines that put "An Original Christmas" into a class of its own.

While "Snap Me a Selfie Santa" celebrates a modern Christmas, "Shimmy Down My Chimney" was written with clever wordplay in mind, filled with puns and the sweet and honest style of the 60's. Lyrics like "Some people like gifts that you put on a shelf, but I'd rather keep old Santa himself, " provide a fun listening experience for fans of all ages.

Jack Saint of TheMusicReviews says, "Miss. Angela C. Howell. The beautiful woman does it all. She wears many hats and has many talents that some artists these days only dream about having...Angela C. Howell is one of those talented artists that makes you want to do more research on her as she moves forward in life."

ArtistViewBlog notes, "Angela has a magnificent voice....The self-titled An Original Christmas gives you a good indication that this is going to be a unique album. A song about the real reasons we celebrate this season. As the songs continue on weaving through many different genres.
