Mary Ann Kennedy's Album 'An Dàn' Longlisted for Scots Trad Album of the Year 2017 Please Vote Now!!

Mary Ann Kennedy's debut solo album, An Dàn, has made it to the longlist for Album of the Year at this year's Scots Trad Music Awards. 'An Dàn' was released internationally through the world and folk label ARC Music and quickly received 4****star reviews from Songlines and was a Top of the World Album (October Issue, 2017) and featured album in Folk Radio UK as a 'gem of an album.'

Belgium's national folk roots publication 'Rootstime' recently declared Mary Ann Kennedy as "the voice of Scotland … a very beautiful contemporary folk album…recommended" while Jim Gilchrist from The Scotsman awarded 'An Dàn' 4****stars as "one from the heart".

The longlist for the Scots Trad Music Awards 2017 – as organised by Hands Up For Trad – will be reduced to a shortlist decided 50% by a panel of experts and 50% by public vote. The voting is now open until Friday 13 October.
